RB: Tell us what you do and how you got started.
UF: I create locally designed paintings, prints and event decor. It all started with a couple of canvased paintings and some decorative pillows that I had made out of some old, vintage t-shirts. I was on a mission to decorate my fiancé's loft condo that I had just moved into. Interest grew from there with close friends and family, and now my paintings and prints are being shipped across the country!
UF: I think if I could live in the shoes of another crafter for a day, I'd have to take a peek into the world of Martha Stewart. She's the ultimate crafter and I would love get a glimpse into her creative brain.
UF: Every time I take part in one of these amazing shows, I get to create a mini UrbanFIZZ storefront (in a sense). I get to meet dozens of other creative souls with common interests and goals. These, by far, have been my most favourite projects as they help me to envision the day where I will own my own cute little store front with local, handcrafted goods.
RB: What do you like most about working on UrbanFIZZ?
UF: The best part of working on UrbanFIZZ is the fact that I get to create pretty things all day long.
UF: I will be showcasing my Fibre Tassel Garlands, which are a new addition to my shop. Think tassel garlands, but with a whole lot more charm. I'll also be showcasing my hand painted skulls, ideal for bar cart accessorizing, as well as some selected, party themed prints.
We are just swooning over all of this stuff, really! #ourvendorsrock and we are really lucky to be joined by such talent and creativity for ReBash...we hope you can come check it all out at this one day only event!
