RB: Tell us about your work and how you got started.
SBSS: We are Clare and Sandra (aunt and niece) and have been working together on different projects for the about 20 years.
We make soap and other body products.
We started making soap for kids and offering workshops for kids, and caught the soap making bug. Recently we have started making our own soap from scratch in the traditional method (Cold Process).
We are in the where are we? and where should we go? phase of the business. :)
This is why we are excited to participate in ReBash!
SBSS: Developing new products is the fun part.
Sometimes/most of the time we find it hard to focus on just a few.
Right now we are very very very excited to showcase our custom decal soap.
Perfect for the wedding industry. We are offering anything you can print, on soap, an engagement photo an inscription, a poem, coordinates of the first place you met, anything!
As well you can pick the scent.
The natural beauty of hand made soap is something we love. Beer soap is a favorite not just because of the amazing lather it produces but because of the rich colour. A stout produces a rich brown whereas an ale is a beautiful cream.
And YES if the couple shares a fave beer or wine, you guessed it, we can make a custom soap.
We get truly excited with colour in our packaging. Certain things we can not live without are the ribbons from mokuba and the kuler colour scheme.
